Therapy focused on what matters to you.

With me, we start with whatever you bring — a difficulty, a pattern, a question or a wish for change.

Together we find a focus for the therapy and keep coming back to what you want to understand, change or move through. The aim isn't therapy for its own sake, but greater understanding, new possibilities and the change you are looking for.

You don't have to be in crisis to start therapy. Perhaps your life works well on paper, yet you still don't feel truly happy or content. Perhaps you have a demanding job where you're doing well, but you notice stress, restlessness or a constant pressure to perform. Or perhaps you keep running into the same patterns and want to understand why.

What might bring you to therapy?

“Everything is going fine, really — but I don't feel happy.”

The direction might be to understand yourself better, get clearer about your needs and discover what gives you meaning and joy.

“I'm stressed at work and find it hard to switch off.”

We can work towards more calm, clearer boundaries and practical ways to handle the pressure of everyday life.

“I'm always performing, but it never feels quite good enough.”

The focus might be understanding your drive to perform, and finding a way to keep your ambitions without constant inner pressure.

“I find it hard to say no, and I end up putting myself last.”

The direction might be learning to notice your own boundaries and stand by your needs.

“I keep ending up in the same conflicts or relationship patterns.”

We can explore what keeps repeating and create more freedom to respond differently.

“I've reached a point in life where I no longer know what I want.”

The direction might be finding more clarity about your values, your wishes and the path you want to take.

“I'm doing fine, but I'd like to know myself better.”

The focus might simply be deeper self-understanding, closer contact with your feelings and a clearer sense of who you are.

Why choose Yulia Hofman Laursen?

Direction means something to me, because what motivates me is seeing therapeutic work create movement and make a real difference.

I especially treasure the moments when something begins to loosen. When someone understands themselves in a new way. When the light comes back into their eyes. When a person who has felt stuck begins to find their way. When someone finds the courage to change something in their life, set a boundary, make a choice or feel more calm and joy.

You don't need to know the direction from the start. We find it together. And it may change along the way. But we keep coming back to what matters to you and what you want to get out of therapy.

When you feel you have got what you came for, we can bring the therapy to a close. You're always welcome back if something new comes up.
